Course Summary
Join me to learn how to sew your own initial using a Whipped Running Stitch (Also known as Candy Cane Stitch!)
Using fabric you already have at home (for example, an old pair of jeans or trousers), a pen, a needle, 2 thread colours and a pair of sharp scissors, I will show you how to get started with embroidering your own personalised designs.
Having taught over 50 children this year how to embroider their own designs, this is by far their favourite stitch to learn and it's really easy to get started. Simply follow my step-by-step videos to learn how to do it yourself.

Recommended Age
The recommended age for children doing this class is 6 years and over. Evidently, the younger the child, the more help they will need from their grown-up, especially when tying knots or threading their needle but once you get started, you will be surprised how quickly they pick up these skills.
P.S. All my classes are suitable for anyone who is keen to learn how to sew their own designs (so you will enjoy them just as much as a Grown-Up!) And if you choose to sew together with your child or grandchild, you will both reap the wellbeing and calming benefits that spending time doing embroidery brings.
