How to Embroider and Sew Your Own Heart Decoration using a Handwritten Message and Upcycled Clothing

Course Summary

Join me to learn how to capture loved one's handwritten messages on fabric and stitch them into your own Memory Heart Decorations using only upcycled fabric from old clothes.

The perfect introduction to sewing your own bespoke keepsake designs by hand!

Recommended Age/ Level

This class is aimed at people who already know how to do basic hand sewing. We will be splitting embroidery floss and using a back stitch to embroider the words which (depending on your original handwritten message) can be very small and tricky to stitch without any prior experience.

Stitching the fabric hearts however is fairly basic, using only a running stitch, so you could choose to just use the videos to learn how to use loved ones clothing to create heart decorations and move onto embroidering them at a later stage.
