Join me to learn how to design and embroider your own personalised rainbow using up to 4 different stitches.
The perfect introduction to hand stitching your own designs onto cotton.
Recommended Age
The recommended age for this activity is 6 years plus. Evidently, the younger the child, the more help they will need from their grown-up. However, you might just choose to have your child draw the design and you embroider it for them. All my classes are suitable for anyone keen to learn how to sew their own designs.

During this Class, you will learn-
- How to create your own embroidery patterns on paper
- How to transfer a design from paper to fabric
- How to use an embroidery hoop for stitching your design
- How to thread a needle and tie a knot
- How to sew a Back Stitch
- How to sew a Split Stitch
- How to sew a Candy Cane Stitch
- How to sew a Satin Stitch
- How to cast off all your stitches
- How to remove the heat erasable pen once your sewing is complete

- Access to a Printer
- 1 x Sheet of A4 White Paper
- Heat Erasable Pen
- Colouring Pens
- Cotton Drill/ Twill Fabric measuring 21 x 21cm
- 4 inch Embroidery Hoop
- Embroidery Threads (Various Colours)
- Needle (Blunt ended/ Tapestry Needle is recommended)
- Needle Threader (Optional)
- Scissors
- Iron
