How to Design & Stitch Your Own Patches Using Your Old Jeans
Course Summary
Join me to learn how to design and embroider your very own personalised patches!
Choose to personalise them with your own initials, a simple drawing or why not create bespoke designs for the whole family? That way, you can give them as gifts to loved ones for their Birthdays, Mothers Day, Fathers Day or Christmas.

Recommended Age
The recommended age for children doing this class is 6 years and over. Evidently, the younger the child, the more help they will need from their grown-up, especially when tying knots or threading their needle but once you get started, you will be surprised how quickly they pick up these skills.
P.S. All my classes are suitable for anyone who is keen to learn how to sew their own designs (so you will enjoy them just as much as a Grown-Up!) And if you choose to sew together with your child or grandchild, you will both reap the wellbeing and calming benefits that spending time doing embroidery brings.

During this Online Class, you will learn-

- How to sew a simple Back Stitch
- How to sew a simple Star Stitch
- How to sew a Whipped Back Stitch (AKA a Candy Cane Stitch!)
- How to measure the thread for each stitch type
- How to cast off a stitch
- How to cut your fabric into a patch once complete
- Ideas for other designs to try
Please note: You will need the following materials and equipment to take part in this class-
- A pair of old jeans/ trousers
- Mug/ cup/ glass
- Pencil or pen
- Scissors
- Needle
- 3 Colours of Embroidery Threads
- Paper Clips (optional)
